1. Overview & Consent

At Graph Maker Online (accessible from graphmakeronline.com), protecting the privacy and personal data of our visitors is one of our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information recorded and processed when you utilize our browser-based coordinate plotting, mathematical graphing, and grid generation tools.

By accessing and using Graph Maker Online, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree with any portion of this policy, please discontinue use of our site immediately.

2. Zero Account Requirement & No Personal Data Collection

Graph Maker Online is engineered as a privacy-first, zero-signup web application. We do not require users to register accounts, log in, or provide personal identifiable information (PII) such as full names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, passwords, or billing information to generate plots, sketch functions, or print graph paper.

Because we do not maintain user profile databases, we do not monetize, sell, lease, or trade personal identity records to third parties.

3. Client-Side Processing & Local Storage

All mathematical calculations, coordinate table plotting, function evaluations, curve fitting regressions, and vector drawing operations take place 100% locally inside your web browser engine. Your uploaded CSV datasets, drawn canvas paths, equation inputs, and custom axis parameters are never transmitted to, uploaded onto, or stored on remote servers.

We leverage browser-native mechanisms solely for convenience and user experience:

  • Browser HTML5 LocalStorage: Used to save UI state choices such as dark mode / light mode preference (`gmo-theme`) so your display preference persists across visits.
  • Local Export & File Generation: When downloading graphs as high-resolution PNG images or generating PDF printable sheets, all rendering occurs in your client environment. No rendered media files are retained on our servers.

You may clear your stored preferences at any time by clearing your web browser's cache and site data.

4. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Cookies

To support the free operation and ongoing development of Graph Maker Online, we display advertisements provided by Google AdSense and third-party vendor networks.

Please note the following regarding third-party advertising cookies:

  • Google AdSense Cookies: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on Graph Maker Online. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • DART Cookie: Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve personalized advertisements. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google Ad and Content Network Privacy Policy.
  • Third-Party Ad Networks: Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Graph Maker Online. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. Other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) may also be used by third-party ad networks to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize advertising content.

Graph Maker Online has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers. You can choose to disable cookies through your browser options. Detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers can be found at the browsers' respective websites.

5. Log Files & Web Analytics

Graph Maker Online follows standard hosting procedures for utilizing log files. These files log visitors when they visit web pages. All major hosting networks and analytics platforms gather this data as part of service administration and security monitoring.

The information collected in log files includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks. This information is anonymous and is not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking user movements, and gathering broad demographic insight for technical optimization.

We may utilize Google Analytics (gtag.js) to aggregate non-personal usage telemetry, helping us optimize rendering speeds, fix user interface bugs, and understand feature popularity.

6. GDPR Data Protection Rights & CCPA Privacy Rights

We want to ensure you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following under international regulations, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right of Access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data. (As we collect no personal data, no records exist to export).

7. Children's Online Privacy Protection

Another core priority is adding protection for children while using the Internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Graph Maker Online does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child provided this kind of information on our site through contact forms or communications, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
